Our final project is dedicated to exploring the evolution and impact of dining services, culinary trends, and food-related practices at Carleton College. Through the lens of various data sources, archival materials, and personal narratives, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of how food has shaped the Carleton community over the years.
In this project, we delve into diverse aspects of food at Carleton, from the menus offered at the LDC to the stories captured in the Carletonian archives. We’ve organized our findings into several sections, each offering a unique perspective on the college’s food culture. Our data-driven approach allows us to identify trends, understand changes, and appreciate the role of food in campus life.
