This project uses GIS to create a map of Tate artists'(born 1950-1952) birthplaces, as well as presenting information about each artist, including photos of their artwork.

Your project demonstrates that there was still a white and male culture in the art sphere during the 1950s. Although there are scattered female artists in South America, the majority of artists were male and born in Europe. I agree that time and energy are constraints in making a more expansive GIS map.
