I think this project is super interesting! I have never seen a circle packing graph before but it was cool to look at it and figure out exactly the story it was conveying. I agree that having the ID’s in the graph was kind of confusing, especially because there wasn’t really a key or anything so I wonder if you could have just left that off entirely and then the graph would be much more about high level trends and we wouldn’t really care who each artist is. I also think it could have been really cool if you had found a way to include place of birth maybe by continent or something but overall I thought this was a really cool visualization.
